A Rainy Day

It was a long exhausting Day..! Leaving from office and an almost 2 hrs journey back to my flat is frustrating(courtesy-the uncontrolled traffic..!!). To drift the attention away from the congestion on roads the usual thing that every one do is to plug in their ear phones and play either MP3 music or the local FM Radio Bands. Falling in with this same routine, all days seem to be the same. When the days are all the same, they pass more quickly;
With days passing by at this pace I feel Iam lacking in my efforts to fill life in my days.
If to analyze as a techi My life graph with years on % of good time spent, all these days will touch base on ground 0 level.L L
This year the rainy season seems to be stretching more then longer. The rain pour in gusts yesterday too. I could feel the wrath of the poor people out on the roads and felt my self privileged to be sitting inside the warm office bus. I dislike Monsoon for the many ways it makes me feel uncomfortable away from home. But its the bread and butter of our poor farmers and so I give myself this as a strong reason to evoke a liking to it.

Returning to the rain..I was sitting at the first seat near the open door and I could actually see the heavily pouring rain. The rain drops hit the ground hard and the water was spilling at a feats distance above ground ,sometimes touching my feet. Observed it quite for a long. Observed the same pattern repeatedly and just then I was a year or 2 away in my memory lane reminiscing the last rain when I was happily wet. Even then, I was returning from my college but to home. It was the years first shower of the monsoon(Mungaru MaLe) and was in its full swing. The roads were empty with water flowing through the slants, cutting their own ways out in their forward journey.Walking through the lanes leading to my house I could see People taking shelter at Tea stalls, small shops, house roofs to save themselves from the heavy downfall, But I was thoroughly enjoying the rain and was slowly moving towards our house with no hurry at all. J

After almost 30-45 mins of Rainy walk ,when I stood near our house door with water dripping from my clothes from every where, my sis at home had a strange look at me.! scorned seeing me wet and also hinted by looks that she knew I was wet on purpose but soon she nursed me with heat bags to warm myself and served me hot hot Tea so that I dont catch cold or fever. J So Sweet of her. JJ
It was a beautiful Rainy evening. I Love it in memories too and will surely preserve it till my memory lasts.!
Apt  to the mood the FM Radio band was now playing the song "Yado ki Baarat Nikli hai Dil ke dware..." J  .Hmm These Baraats are quite frequent with me.JJ
Coming back, The scene now is different. There is no one at my flat to nurse me with hot tea now. I will be alone responsible for my acts. L L It was still raining heavily and now was my turn to step outside the Bus..! Was Praying to Rain God to slow down a bit but I knew he never descriminates so I had to face it.! L L Seems I should have sung the same old Ryme to please him.
'Rain Rain go away...Little ..' haha J J

A Million Cheers to all the Good old memories..!
Cheers,
Dably
